Given today’s ever-changing threat environment, Critical Infrastructure owners and operators should consider having an incident management plan for an active shooter event or hostage taking at their facility. Successful plans will include components on: communication with employees; employee accountability; familiarization with local emergency responders and understand the services they offer; coordination and communication with first responders; and a public affairs component
